|
|
Hi
I'm looking for software that will allow me to see how many
separations are there in pdf file. It's not even so important if i
could see them - like in Acrobat - but i need to check how many of
them are there and what are their names.
I'm wondering if there's any free soft that could be helpful here?
Or anything else than Acrobat?
Regards

Ghostscript can render separations, and will report the names of the
separations encountered on the back channel.
Depending what you need this may be sufficient for your purposes.

HI prozaKC,
If you're looking for a good source on using Acrobat with PDF files,
check this book out. It tells you how you can preview PDFs in Acrobat,
Preflight, edit PDF files and more.

There are other things. At the high end, Asura from OneVision can
surely do this, though I haven't seen it personally.
When you're asking for a recommendation for software, and you have
already rejected some, it may be a good idea to say _why_ so people
know where you are coming from.
