Lee, we started out with the 8050 and were very happy with the image quality
on any decent uncoated paper.
Our vendor bought out our lease and put us in a Bizhub 5500 which handles
the heaviest stocks we can throw at it, registartion is great for a copier
and leaves no appreciable marks on coated stocks. (Three deficiencies with
the 8050.)
In short, it's a great machine. We run small print, and do trade bookmaking.
Our bindery customers have stopped running book covers on their crap color
copiers, having us do them after seeing the image quality. |
